Black Outdoor Motion Sensor Wall Lamp

This black outdoor wall lamp has a motion sensor for lighting an exterior entrance. The traditional wall lamp is designed for mounting on the exterior walls of buildings as functional and orientation lighting. The classic lantern shape combined with a black finish and transparent panels provides clear light diffusion. The integrated PIR motion sensor allows automatic lighting activation upon motion detection, without the need for manual operation.

How and when to use it

Position it near an entrance or path where the motion sensor can illuminate movement after dark. Use it on Australian spring and summer evenings to make the entry, facade or patio edge easier to see after dark. Look at the entrance or patio wall from the path you normally take after dark before deciding where it should sit. A wall fitting can draw attention to the doorway while also giving the surrounding surface a softer evening presence. If you use the patio for dinner, place the light where it supports the seating area without dominating the view. Consider the direction of the light and the height of the fitting before committing to a mounting position.

Placement and styling

For a balanced entrance, you can repeat the same fitting on either side when the available wall space allows. Compare the listed dimensions with the door frame, fence panel or wall section where you plan to mount it. Check the stated outdoor rating and the installation requirements against the exact location you have chosen. The material specification lists Metal + glass, so you can coordinate its finish with the surfaces already in the space.
